Position Overview:

Application Consultants are the key liaison between our organization and our customers. As a successful Application Consultant, you advise our customers on operational issues and troubleshooting, either through configuring customizations yourself or through driving the programming process with our software development team.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a business-oriented individual with technical expertise and problem solving talents to support our customers in the APAC region. As a successful Application Consultant you will use your analytical skills to convert business requirements into technical specifications.

Application Consultants are our customer contact points, so you will need to provide professional support through communication, determination and problem solving. We are looking for a person who is able to see a problem as a chance to find a solution.

Previous experience with telecommunications BSS (Business Support Systems) and Billing is an asset.

As our new Application Consultant you will join a global Customer Team, which improves and maintains our billing solution for specific customers. The overall purpose of the position is to provide customers with high-quality technical support on a daily basis. You are a proactive team player. As part of a team you will benefit from the experience of other team members and continue to raise the bar for customer service and the quality we provide.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong SQL database query skills
  • Experience with Java, Servlets, Junit and SQL
  • At least 3 years of business experience in telecommunications, finance or CRM solutions
  • Previous experience working with Billing and Business Support Systems (BSS) is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Educational background in computer science, data processing, engineering or IT
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Customer-support experience
  • Excellent business insight

  • Great communications skills
  • Proactive team player
  • Good at prioritizing and managing own tasks
