Missed Call Notification

The Missed Call Notification solution increases call completion by reporting missed calls to the called party using SMS. The notification message includes the calling number, the number of missed calls and the date and time of the call. A call may be missed if the subscriber is in a low coverage area, has the mobile switched off, is busy with another call or does not have voicemail activated. Missed Call Notification can also be used to screen calls whereby the subscriber diverts all calls to the service, receives notification about each call and decides which callers to call back. Missed Call Notification is also useful when roaming as the caller will hear a "subscriber unreachable" message and will know the subscriber's status. The MCN subscriber can then call back if it is necessary.
