What does it do?

Put simply, when someone calls your fixed line phone, VAVOOMB will also ring your smartphone and/or your desktop/tablet PC allowing you to take the call on any device. This is more than a simple phone redirection service because you can change devices in the middle of a call.

For example, you can answer the call on the PC and then switch to the mobile phone if you need to leave the house. The switch is seamless to the other party, who is unaware of the move. What’s more, you can select which device rings for incoming calls from your mobile phone and/or your desktop client and change that selection at any time.

What if I already put in a cheap simple missed call notification service?

Some operators have done this already, but these solutions are not that cheap when you consider the fact that the call remains unanswered and revenue has been lost.
VAVOOMB currently supports all iOS and Android devices such as the iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones. The desktop client runs on Windows XP, Vista, Windows7 and MacOS computers.

I don’t have a smartphone – can I still use this service?

Yes. VAVOOMB will work with ordinary mobile phones. However, you can’t change your multi-ring preferences via the phone and must use the desktop client instead.
