All of the applications in the Jinny ViO are built and installed on the Jinny Standard Platform, which gives you a single hardware platform with a single OS and database solution as well as an identical configuration and middleware for management and support. This keeps things simple – any changes are made in the same way on every application, which reduces OPEX and enables us to give you market-leading technical support.
All your VAS applications can be integrated into the operator environment at single points of connection for service management, billing, reporting and network integration.
Jinny Main Console & Simple API
The Jinny Main Console allows a single login point for O&M and Customer Care for configuration and a single point for alarms and performance monitoring. The Jinny Main Console is a single point at which an O&M operative can log in to access configuration for any of the VAS applications in the Jinny ViO. Equally, the Jinny Main Console offers a single point where a customer care operative can log in to manage the configuration for a subscriber on any of the applications deployed in the ViO.
In addition, for service management by CRM or IT provisioning systems, the Jinny ViO provides a simple API set that allows the features and functionality of any of the Jinny VAS applications to be made available to the management systems for application configuration and for subscriber management.
Unified Billing
For both prepaid and postpaid billing, the Jinny ViO offers single points of connection and integration. For prepaid, Jinny’s Real Time Charging Gateway allows any application in the ViO solution to perform real-time prepaid charging. Equally, every application in the ViO solution produces CDR records which are consolidated and provided to the operator BSS from a single connection point, so that the BSS doesn’t have to collect the CDRs from multiple applications.
Reporting & Business Intelligence
The Jinny Business Reporting Suite performs all business intelligence and reporting across all of the applications in the ViO solution. Again, the operator doesn’t need to access multiple nodes to extract reports but, instead, need only pick up the reports from a single interface. Indeed, the BRS can export the reports to any destination that the operator requires in multiple formats.
Network Interconnect
The Jinny ViO solution enables mobile operators to run all VAS services on many cellular network technologies simultaneously – GSM, CDMA, TDMA, iDEN, 2G/3G, 4G LTE, WiMAX. By sharing the network interconnect resources across applications, the Jinny ViO reduces the capital investment in infrastructure to deliver an efficient network interconnect design.
