Jinny Talks - Edition 2

Our second edition of Jinny Talks brings news of two deals where Jinny Software will provide its messaging platforms to leading international telecoms provider Cable & Wireless’ 14 businesses in the Americas & Caribbean.

These two deals - one for the Caribbean and one for Panama - were clinched through close collaboration with Ericsson by offering competitively priced, feature-rich solutions combined with delivery of bespoke development and rapid deployment timeframes. Read the press release.

Jinny Talks hears from Robert Fleming, Regional Sales Manager, Europe, on the growing complexity of convergence in the messaging domain. The creation of a user-friendly, multi-service technology that is consistent across subscribers' multiple mobile devices represents the main issue of converged messaging.

George Yazbek, Strategic Marketing Director, imparts his views on the significant threat of mobile phone spam and viruses. The interoperability between mobile phones and other devices brings with it many advantages but deploying an open-door model has opened communication with many sources which allows email-to-SMS and MMS traffic and this brings very real dangers of spam and virus attacks.
