Uganda Telecom Selescts Jinny Software To Supply SMSC And MMSC

DUBAI, 30th NOVEMBER 2004 - Jinny Software has signed a contract to supply Uganda Telecom with two high-performance messaging platforms. The systems comprise Jinny's SMSC and MMSC. The systems are part of Uganda Telecom's continuing efforts to provide the very best services to its customers.

Jinny Software has signed a contract to supply Uganda Telecom with two high-performance messaging platforms. The systems comprise Jinny’s Short Message Service Centre (SMSC) and Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (MMSC). The systems are part of Uganda Telecom’s continuing efforts to provide the very best services to its customers.
"This contract allows Uganda Telecom to offer the complete range of messaging data services, from traditional text-based to full multimedia-enabled messages, with interoperability between both", commented Max Wilkie, CEO at Jinny. "Jinny’s open architecture ensures that the systems can grow in line with the expected market demand, coupled with the reliability that has become the hallmark of Jinny’s product suite".
Mr. Aimable Mpore, the Managing Director of Uganda Telecom, believes that the Jinny business and product model is unique in the industry.
