Jinny Software launches a Ringback Tone Server
3GSM World Congress, Cannes, France 14th February, 2005 - Leading vendor of messaging platforms, Jinny Software, today announced the commercial availability of its Ringback Tone Server, which enables mobile users to personalize the sounds and music that callers listen to before the call is answered. The usual monotone, droning sound can be replaced with a popular ringtone, sound clip or self-recorded message, allowing subscribers to express themselves in a very individual way.
Jinny's solution delivers all the necessary elements for mobile operators to offer this service immediately. The platform comprises very powerful push messaging logic, based on triggers and events. The multi-access subscription system based on WEB, WAP, IVR and SMS make the service easy to activate. Users can choose from a database containing hundreds of songs provided by content partners. After purchase, they can store the tones for immediate or future use. From a billing perspective, the solution is also fully configurable to meet the requirements of any business model chosen by an operator.
Max Wilkie, CEO of Jinny Software, said, "The Ringback Tone Server helps our Customers make more money from messaging technologies. This platform release allows our Customers to launch new attractive services for their customers, and increase ARPU".
The Jinny Ringback Tone Server builds on open standards in line with the Jinny philosophy of providing non-proprietary platforms. The solution is designed to full carrier-grade and is fully scalable. This Ringback Tone Server complements Jinny.s already impressive range of messaging platforms, which enable mobile network operators to develop and deliver services and applications by SMS, WAP, MMS and voice.
