Jinny Unveils Multimedia Service Environment In Middle East

Dubai, 12 December 2002: Jinny Software, a subsidiary of Acotel Group SpA, has today formally unveiled its Multi Media Service Environment (MMSE) in the Middle East
The Jinny MMSE is a scalable MMS Environment allowing Operators to provide consistent, reliable end-to-end Messaging services. The environment also includes enhanced functionality that gives a much higher user experience of Multimedia Services. Jinny Software was the first to go live with their Multimedia Message Service Centre (MMSC), a key component of the MMSE, in the region earlier this year.
Mr. Declan O'Mahony, General Manager for Jinny Software in the Middle East commented "The key to success in Multimedia Messaging is integration of the various elements that make up the service, including SMS, EMS, WAP, and MMS itself. Prepaid Mediation is also a key element, as Prepaid subscribers in the Middle East continue to grow at a faster rate than Postpaid. In addition, the MMSE allows seamless connectivity with other Networks and Application Providers, allowing almost universal connectivity with the various SMS, MMS and Internet-based interfaces".
