Jinny Software Ltd. Launch Wap2000™ Gateway

15 November 1999 - Bringing the power of the Internet to GSM customers

Barcelona, 15 November 1999: Jinny Software Ltd will today introduce their exciting new Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) range of servers and platforms at the WAP Congress in Barcelona and the GSM Middle East & Gulf Digital Mobile Conference in Bahrain.

The WAP2000™ Gateway is fully built and ready for market, timed for release with the latest WAP compatible mobile phones. WAP provides the essential interface between mobile networks and the Internet, allowing mobile users true access to the Web. Coupled with Jinny Software’s V2000, the WAP gateway offers a complete range of value added services including information push and pull features. Operation is user friendly with the consumer being able to configure his/her profile via the Internet or the phone.

WAP2000™ will be formally demonstrated at conferences in both Barcelona and Bahrain today. Business Development Manager, Irene Dehaene, said: "The arrival of WAP marks a great leap forward in mobile solutions.
