Cannes, 19 February 2002: Continuing a tradition of multimedia solutions, Jinny Software, an Acotel Group company, today launched its Irish portal www.acoweb.ie.

The portal offers multimedia messaging services to the innovative and technology-adept consumer and corporate communities in Ireland. It will offer an event based mobile package to both these subscriber groups. Customers will access Acoweb.ie using Jinny’s Web, WAP, SMS and Voice Services platforms.

Acoweb.ie will initially offer picture messaging and ringtones to the consumer audience. It will also be one of the first portals in Ireland to offer Premium SMS. The service will quickly be enhanced by AcoCorporate, providing value-added SMS communication and control in a secure and user-friendly fashion to the business community. AcoCorporate will provide EMS (Enhanced Picture Messaging) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Services).

Jinny Software is in a unique position to operate such a portal as it combines the wireless services knowledge of Acotel with its own state of the art platform technology to offer an interactive, wireless portal. www.acoweb.it has been operating in Italy since Q3 2001.
