Best Practices research examines the key industry challenges facing operators and assesses how Jinny addresses the software needs that arise. Analyst Vikrant Gandhi concludes that Jinny is best-in-class for competitive strategy, and offers “the best set of solutions and services to its customers and partners worldwide.”

“We are delighted to receive this award,” says Max Wilkie, Jinny CEO. “Our market strategy at Jinny is focused on two things: our customers’ return on investment and constant innovation. Network convergence, mobile broadband, and the evolution of social media all present unique challenges and opportunities for mobile carriers. With the right technology solutions, carriers can add value to their services and turn these trends to their advantage. This award is a great recognition of our commitment to our customers and to mobile innovation.”

Key Industry Challenges
In his report, Gandhi examines leading telecoms software vendors via the framework of key industry challenges, including the simultaneous growth of messaging throughput and decrease in messaging revenues, the demand for increased messaging services due to the penetration of smartphones, and the slow deployment of next-generation networks. The paper states,
“Frost & Sullivan believes that the vendor that is most able to help mobile operators meet key industry challenges, such as premium data revenue generation, cost reduction and support of new business models, will emerge as the long-term winner in the global messaging and mobile data services markets.”

Competitive Strategy
Gandhi cites Jinny’s comprehensive product portfolio and ability to provide end-to-end messaging, call completion and mobile advertising solutions as key differentiators. He also notes Jinny’s penetration and activity in all markets and strategy of offering subscriber-based pricing models across all deployments as important elements to Jinny’s success.

Other factors contributing to Jinny’s best-in-class status are rapid response to market signals, local presence, market positioning and effective leveraging of competitive intelligence.
