DUBLIN, April 4, 2011– Jinny Software, a leading global supplier of messaging, call completion and mobile advertising solutions to wireless carriers, today announced record financial results for 2010. After the tight market conditions of 2009, Jinny kick-started its growth strategy by entering new markets and expanding its presence in existing markets. On the back of an order book that grew 96% year-on-year, consolidated revenues grew year-on-year by 62% to €16.34 million in 2010. The company posted an EBITDA of €1.75 million for the year.
Against fierce competition, Jinny has broadened its presence by winning new customers in the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. This strong result was a product of Jinny’s strategy to invest in product development, strategic partnerships, sales personnel and productivity improvements.
Jinny has a new strategic positioning this year, summarised in the company strap-line “Powering Mobile Innovation”. The response to the new positioning has been positive, underpinned by the company’s substantial order book entering Q2 2011. “We are delighted to announce a return to profit for Jinny in 2010 and a strong start to 2011.
