DUBLIN, 31 January 2011 – Jinny Software, a leading global supplier of messaging, call completion and media solutions to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), today announces the signing of a new deal with Canadian communications company EastLink.
As Canada’s first company to combine cable, Internet and telephone service in a communications and entertainment bundle, EastLink will deploy Jinny’s next-generation messaging solutions as part of a new mobile service offering that is currently under development.
Jinny’s next-generation messaging solutions are uniquely designed to help operators such as EastLink to easily scale with the introduction of new mobile data services. Jinny’s proven track record for delivering robust and scalable messaging solutions to operators around the world means it is well positioned to provide EastLink with this critical enabling technology.
Jinny’s messaging solutions are designed to open standards and have been exhaustively tested in commercial deployments. The Jinny architecture provides the flexibility, features and framework components to help operators evolve their service portfolio to include richer and more interactive messaging services. Migration to next-generation services is made easier, without having to write off existing investments.
EastLink’s messaging solutions comprise the following Jinny products: the Jinny SMSC, MMSC, WAP Gateway, Multimedia Permanent Storage Server, MMS Studio Module, and Message Router together with the Jinny Operations and Maintenance Console, as part of a new mobile service offering which will be introduced in 2011.
